Lent 2024: Wandering Heart

This year we are again using resources from A Sanctified Art that have been adapted for our context: Wandering Heart. The Devotional Booklet, Devotional Cards, Poetry Booklet, Bible Study and Lecto Divina resources are protected resources and may be accessed through the office, or via the links below using a password available from the Church office .

If you would like to access these resources email the Church office and we'll either provide you with copies, or provide you with the password so you can print your own.

Weekly Sunday Gatherings

We will gather each Sunday of the Lenten to connect with the story of Peter and his Wandering Heart.

Peter's story is our story. The logo for the season features a whimsical dashed line that weaves and meanders through the image. The journey of faith is anything but predictable – with twists and turns that are both surprising and disappointing, beautiful, and challenging. And along the way, there are places and experiences where we are changed.

For Peter, these are marked on the logo as icons, geotags, symbolizing the moments of transition and transformation in Peter’s journey.

Daily Devotional Booklet

This This Lent, we are focusing on the life and faith of one of Jesus’ most famous disciples. In Peter, we see a person who is both steadfast and unsteady, a dear friend and a betrayer, a follower and a wanderer. In Peter, we often see ourselves. By following Peter’s journey, we watch the story of Jesus unfold through the eyes of a very normal human trying to figure it all out—just like us.
