Do you have paintings in your home which you have packed away? Do you have pottery which you are not using? Would you consider giving the items to our church as a fundraiser?
We would display the items for a couple of weeks in the sanctuary with a silent auction sheet beside it. When you see something you like, you would place your bid on the bidding sheet.
In the fall …we would have a live auction of finer, more exquisite items at a dessert party. We would also recognize the donated silent auction items. If your article is not bid on, it will be returned to you. Paintings should be framed.
