Sackville United Church in partnership with the Mount Allsion Student Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Eli Wood to the position of Campus/Community Social Justice Liaison.
Eli is a first-year student at Mount Allison University. Eli brings to this part-time position his experience as past president with the Gender and Sexuality Alliance group, and as a Board Member of the LGBTQ+ Alliance, and his experience as a member of the Laing House Steering Committee.
Eli is looking forward to connecting with the various community and campus social justice groups and committees and supporting them in their work and encouraging interpersonal relation and collaborating in their work.
In the very near future Eli will be inviting the various social justice groups and committees to a gathering where funding opportunities to support the work of social justice on campus and in the community will be announced. Eli can be reached through ccsjl.suc@gmail.com.
