On Thursday afternoon I joined a number of other folk of the Sackville United Church and dropped in on Leola Trenholm to wish her a Happy Birthday! Wallie and a Norma and Dave and Diane has been in earlier and she was just delighted!
When I asked how many years she was celebrating she said with a smile, 79. I chuckled and said, “I think the truth in that number could be best seen when held up to a mirror!”
Today the celebration continues and they are off to the Bel Air for clams and then to the Chat Bleu for dessert!
May we all be so witty and spry at ’79’!
