Today we welcome Sara Jewell, lay worship leader and talented author, and thank her for sharing her gifts of word and leadership with us today and in the coming weeks.
SUMMER PULPIT SUPPLY AND PASTORAL CARE: The following is the schedule for pulpit supply:

For any pastoral care needs in August please contact Rev Jean Ward – 902-694-4372. Her number will be available at the church office, on our answering machine and at the local funeral homes. For the month July while Rev Ward is on vacation Rev Janice MacLean will be available for emergency pastoral care. Please contact her in the month of July if needed at 506-536-4180.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial for Claude Ebbett will be held at the Drew on July 6th at 1:00pm. Claude was a long time member and attender at Sackville United Church, and was a veteran of World War II.
“DATES” WITH THE INREACH COMMITTEE: The newly formed In-reach needs your help in achieving our purpose, which is to be ‘there’ for our members and adherents in various ways. One of our mandates is to recognize special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, and other celebratory times in the lives of our congregation. This is where you can help. We will have a perpetual calendar on which we will record the applicable dates. Could you please pass on the appropriate information to Diane Fullerton? Her email is dfullert@nb.sympatico.ca or you can phone at 536 3749.
In addition, if you know of someone going through sickness, losses or other difficulties, we would be very happy to arrange visits if so desired. Once again, we ask your help in ensuring we are informed of these situations.
