Celebrating and Marking the End of the Sackville UCW

The Sackville United Church UCW Group shared in a service on Sunday October 30 marking the 60th Anniversary of the UCW and formally disbanded.

During the service the various ministries of the UCW to the Church and larger community were acknowledged and recognized with deep gratitude for the faithfulness of so many.

From the Reflection...

"UCW gathering have provided countless opportunities for fellowship – and some of the best moments were those in the kitchen – even when the sargent at arms was barking orders or you stood in the wrong spot and Norma let you know… and you sure learned quickly what side your bread was buttered on and how to spread the butter right to the edges…"
