Changing of the Church Seasons this week at SPC!

Lent is nearly upon us, and as we move into this new season of the church year, we are blessed with opportunities for celebration and contemplation:

Tuesday, Feb 28 – PANCAKES AND TRIVIA AT SUC:  Come and join us for an evening of light-hearted fun as we share a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper and then follow it up with some pub-style trivia with an SUC twist!  Start planning your trivia team of 2-4 people now.  We don’t want to ruin the surprise of what the prize will be, but it will be AMAZING.

All are welcome, and there is no cost for this time of fellowship.  Dinner starts at 6pm, with trivia beginning at 7 – categories will all be SPC and United Church-related, but on a light-hearted note for all ages.

Wednesday, Mar 1 – ASH WEDNESDAY SERVICE AT UPPER SACKVILLE: Join us at 6:30pm as Rev. Jennifer leads us in a brief time of prayer, song, and contemplation.  There will be an opportunity to share in the imposition of ashes together, and all are welcome.
