This announcement if for all of our Community of Faith, but specifically for the women and girls in our Community of Faith.
March 8th is the United Nations International Women’s Day.
We are inviting women and girls to gather a few of the following items, put them into a spare grocery bag and bring them to the church. If the church is not open, you can put the items into a large tote which will be on the step. These items will then be divided and distributed to the local Food Bank, Ensemble Moncton, Autumn House, Open Sky, Tantramar High The Pantry and Mount Allison where women and girls would use them.
The following is a list of possible articles:
Feminine hygiene products
Tea bags
Toothpaste
Shampoo/Conditioner
Hot Chocolate
Toothbrushes
Towels/Face cloths
Dental Floss
Face Cream
Hand soap
Mouthwash
Deodorant
Hand sanitizer
Combs/Brushes
Moisturizing Lotion
This is just one way of making a positive difference for women and girls.
We would like the articles brought to the church by February 25th.
