The Executive of Sackville United Church at its meeting on September 22nd made the decision, that as of September 22nd, all individuals (aged 12 and up) entering Sackville United Church be required to show their record of immunization and government issued identification in order to participate in-person, in any event or activity hosted by Sackville United Church or by any group or organization using space within Sackville United Church for any event or activity.
And, that Sackville United Church and any group or organization using space within Sackville United Church continue previous COVID-19 protocols: wearing masks, ensuring that hand sanitizer is readily available, and recording the names and contact information of those participating for the purpose of contact tracing.
We believe that these action are ‘the loving thing to do’, that they are faithful actions as part of our responsibility and obligation to provide a safe and secure environment for people to gather in community.
