Worship and Work must be One
The Executive of the Congregation for SUC is beginning a process of regular updates of its actions in the effort to be as transparent and accountable to the congregation as possible.
Here are motions from the March 27th Executive Meeting:
Moved by Eric Tusz King and seconded by Julien Desrochers that we pursue the possibility of an “audit swap” with Visions United Church. Motion passed.
Moved by Elsie MacDonald and seconded by Eric Tusz King that the Executive request a progress report from the Affirm Committee with a view for making application to Affirm United for status as an affirming congregation. Motion passed.
Moved by Eric Tusz King and seconded by Julien Desrochers that the Executive accept the Memorandum of Understanding between All for Peace, Children’s Welfare, and Women’s Empowerment (APCWWE). Motion passed.
Moved by Eric Tusz King and seconded by Julien Desrochers that the Financial Report be accepted. Motion passed.
